Hey Rick, you helped me out with a few pointers awhile back. Harbor Freight now have them listed in the ads for $159.00 a pc now. So I just went today and bought
(2) kits. They work great, going to get a couple more while they’re priced low. I have them seperated charging 2 12v marine batts each. 1 for all the lighting , the other runs with an inverter (2000w) for my fridge. It runs smoothly off of this system. SWEET!!

I wouldn’t be worried about refrigeration right now now here anyway (Its freezing outside) I would be worried about getting water. ………But its still not the end of the world!
Ha I started looking here on youtube for laser demos and ended up here. I was hoping for a little more DIY but your video got me thinking and after just buying a ton of LEDs from ebay real cheap, turns out solar cells are pretty cheap there too.
Now I’m thinking of how to make my room solar powered. We rent so just doing a few lights and stuff would probably be about all I could do for now. Or I could get all crazy and make all my stuff run off DC =p
That’s a very good start for being able to be off grid, or to reduce the use of grid power. Some people will go to these comment sections and talk smack on somebody because they don’t have the funding that NASA, or Sandia National Labs, or others, have. I saw such a comment on this page of comments, alone. You know what? That’s a good start, man. I hadn’t heard that Cure song in several years, by the way. Wasn’t it off of Wish?
